Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord (Ravager), is a character appearing in Marvel Comics. A human born on Earth, Quill was abducted by the Yondu Udonta-led Ravagers shortly after his mother's death in 1988.
Yondu initially intended to deliver Quill to his father, Ego, a Celestial. However, Yondu chose to raise Quill himself, teaching him the ways of the Ravagers and making him a part of their crew. Quill became a skilled thief and mercenary, traveling the galaxy in search of valuable artifacts and bounties.
Star-Lord's adventures led him to cross paths with Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot. Together, they formed the Guardians of the Galaxy, a team dedicated to protecting the innocent and fighting galactic threats. While initially motivated by personal gain, Quill gradually embraced his role as a hero and leader, becoming a key figure in defending the galaxy from numerous dangers, including Thanos.
